personal website INSPO: high voltage misconceptions

I came across this website a couple months ago, and it first sparked my inspiration. I need to refer to this site frequently, because I often get lost in the design and layout of things, but really I should keep things simple.

I want to write so much more about the festival and thanksgiving trip I just had. But it took a long time for me to fiddle with this layout so that I could present the information I wanted.

Troubleshooting phase is slow. It's important to keep notes during this phase, and to REFERENCE them for next time.

The purpose of this personal website is to serve as a collection of my notes - a "final draft" version for me to reference in the future.

I do not want to rely on a permanent, physical home for these things. And using separate apps for all the different types of media/notes I create results in a fragmented, vulnerable "second brain".

MY SECOND BRAIN won't change the layout UNLESS I SAY SO!

It's also forcing me to be more organized and intentional with naming my digital files.

I used to code simple websites back in jr high, before studying became my whole life for several years.

I'm returning....to the ~*~ INDIE WEB ~*~
